While browsing the TMNT figures at Target, I noticed that the movie figures are now shipping in new packaging. Above you will see the old style packaging and below you will find the new style.
Let’s compare the two. First off, the new packaging features an image of the corresponding figure inside of the package rather than all four turtles. You will also notice that the cardboard has changed in color as well. In addition, Playmates removed the picture of the turtle on the card insert, added “Teenage Mutant” to “Ninja Turtles”, changed the shape of the bubble and the card, and have added Nickelodeon to the top of the packaging.
