“Fresh From The Sewer” Original 1988 Playmates Toys Ad

I have been reading the TMNT Archie Adventure series and have been seeing some pretty cool ads in these books. I thought I would share some of them on occasion.

This one features some artwork from Peter Laird and Ryan Brown of the four turtles. It is an original ad for the very first Playmates action figure line from 1988. The description even mentions some of the classic vehicles such as the Turtle Blimp and the Cheapskate. These ads were featured in each book of the 3 issue mini-series and can be found on the back cover of issue #1 of the ongoing series. The good old days!
